Frequently asked questions
What happens to Arabic or Chinese characters?
They are removed, because slugs use plain letters a to z and digits 0 to 9. A non-Latin slug needs transliteration into Latin letters first, which this tool does not do.
Will a new slug change my existing URLs?
No. The tool only creates text. Changing a live page address requires a redirect, so check before you change any published URL.
